Hi, I’m Joanne, founder and bakery chef. I was born at 26 weeks, weighing 1 lb 12. I survived, but the prognostic for my development was not that good. Fortunately for me, I was born into a family of faith, and blessed with parents that wouldn’t give up on me. From an early age, I developed an interest in food by watching Rachel Ray and Emril. It didn’t come as a surprise to my parents when I said I wanted to be a bakery chef. I was again fortunate for their support and the support of other family members, especially my grandpa, Manny.
My message to this generation is that, in spite of any challenge, life holds many possibilities and with God, the best possibility can become your reality. Never give up!
